CBAA Membership
Basically every graduate of Cocoa Beach High School is a “member” of the Alumni Association. That was easy, wasn’t it? The next step in joining is to register yourself as an Alumnus. Why? Because it is your connection to other alumni from Cocoa Beach High … giving us your current information helps us keep track of the 10,000+ graduates, a daunting task that the CBAA has taken on happily and enthusiastically.
The next step would be to become involved—we know that time is precious. The CBAA is located here in Cocoa Beach and you may be living in another city or state, so just can you become involved? You can do it two ways—run for our Board of Directors and participate in monthly meetings via conference phone calls or, easier yet, you can make a donation!
Your donation (no matter how large or small) will do many things. It will keep the administrative costs of running the CBAA (state filing fees, conference calls, supplies, web site) manageable AND it will go towards any projects that your elected Board decides to pursue. A big project on the horizon is to scan EVERY single yearbook and have senior portraits of every graduating class on our web site—and offer for sale CD copies of these yearbooks.
We would love to award a single scholarship or many scholarships to graduating CBHS seniors to help them with their future, and this will come with time and when funding allows. Our immediate goals are to do smaller projects in the small Cocoa Beach school community. Examples of these projects are listed under PROJECTS in the menu above. See what we've done!
When you make a donation, your name will be listed on our SUPPORTERS page with an icon indicating your level of donation. The icons we’ll be using are below so, help out . Any amount given will be appreciated more than you know! The donation is tax deductible; you’ll be sent an official receipt for your donation.
