There is always “lots of stuff” going on here at the CBAA. We have monthly Board of Directors meetings and accomplish so much! AND we welcome anyone who might want to attend these meetings. They are the 4th Monday of each month at the Cocoa Beach Public Library – we start at 7PM. If you should ever wish to see a copy of the CBAA’s by-laws or our financial information, please contact me, and it will be provided for you.

BEACH WALK (Will she ever stop talking about it???)
Probably not! As you know, the CBAA has assumed administrative responsibility for the Beach Walk at Minutemen Stadium … the Walk is gorgeous and more improvements planned before the 2009 football season.
Construction is beginning (as you read this) to change the entrance into the Stadium. The old ticket booth, concession stand and rest rooms are all going bye-bye and new ones are being built. The new entrance to the Stadium will be more eastward closer to the school. They hope to have construction finished by July.
Coach Piccalo (CBHS Head Football Coach) keeps Beach Walk looking beautiful, with additional wonderful volunteer help from Mark Provancha, a CBHS parent. New palm trees, new fences, new shrubbery, and a cleaned, weed-free paver walk … is some of the work being done constantly by them. 20% of the paver costs pay for this maintenance and improvements – the more pavers sold – the more improvements!

2008 ALUMNI FOOTBALL GAME

2008 ALUMNI BASEBALL GAME
Yep. It’s a 95% chance that this IS going to happen. Coach Rich Coleman, CBHS Head Baseball Coach has said he’d like to do the game this year and continue on yearly. It’ll probably be Saturday following the Alumni Football Game. So, that date would be Saturday, November 30th. We’re not sure of the time yet – nor any other details … be watching here for more info as we get it.
