Hello – and Happy Summer! A lot to talk about this UpDate – we’re starting out with October and November activities – but there is lots of current info right after that … be sure and keep reading!

OCTOBER 3rd - CLASSES 1967 and 1968 ALUMNI FOOTBALL REUNION
From CBHS Head Football Coach, Tony Piccalo: “The 1968 football team reunion is now the 1967 and 1968 team’s reunion. After some thought, and the checking of team records (1967: 7-4, 1968: 8-1-1), emails from other alumni football players, it was determined that the 1967 football team should be included.
“This reunion is set for the Friday, October 3 rd, home football game vs. Space Coast High School. We have already gotten attendance confirmation from Coaches Theron Mitchell and Dwight Thomas.”
“Please pass along the word of this first of a kind CBHS Football Reunion. Word of mouth will be our best form of communication – and please contact me with any additional info/input – it would be much appreciated.”

THANKSGIVING WEEKEND ACTIVITIES
Reunions – One Down, Three To Go: Yep. The Classes of 1998, 1988 and 1978 are all having their 10 th, 20 th and 30 th respective reunions that weekend. See our REUNIONS page for more specific information. Also want to mention that I believe this is the first time in our school’s 44 years history that we’ve had FOUR – yes, four – reunions in one year. The Class of 1968 had their 40 th Reunion on June 14 th – they wanted to beat the Thanksgiving rush – pictures coming soon. J
19th Annual Alumni Football Game: Friday night, November 28 th at 6PM at Minutemen Stadium will be the infamous alumni football game – led by Head Football Coach, Tony Piccalo. The game is a good gathering place for reunions in town that weekend, and for all the local CBHS folks who want to enjoy a wonderful Friday night out. BEIJING OLYMPICS BLOG from CHEF STEVE BIERY ’86
Steve Biery ’86 is attending/working the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing as one of their main Chef’s. He will be leaving for China on July 6 th and returning August 28 th – and he has graciously agreed to relay his adventure to us via emails. These emails – as soon as we receive them – will be posted at the CBAA Blog. How wonderful – and what a different perspective we’re going to be privy to … can’t wait to see what Steve is going to tell us. Thanks, Steve …
The CBAA Blog is the one place on our web site where I can place all current information from the area of our high school – it’s mostly about alumni, but there’s also some stuff thrown in there about the City of Cocoa Beach, local schools, sports, and other tidbits of info that I think you might enjoy.
